Arty on UNCAP

Have the rules changed? Is it okay for the US commander to Arty the China uncap the entire round? I was the China Commander at 8:42pm EST when Smitty(mohaa) repeatedly sent artillery to the uncap. I asked for a warning then for a kick. I asked SkyCanobus who the commander was, and asked him to kick. MJDubb was also on that team.

I did not see any warnings or kick... Based on my count, he should have been banned within 2 minutes.

Just would like clarification - because if you can arty the uncap and not get banned, I would like to have the same advantage when I am commander.

It would also be nice if R|A Players would respond to requests for help.... Thanks

Nope, still not allowed.

I had the same issues before I got admin, witnessing things, asking for a warn and no response. Sucks, the dude should have been kicked.

I've noticed commanders have a hard time paying attention to whos saying what in text. I dont know why cause when I command I check on the text incase someone who isnt squad leader is asking for something via text. Neither one of them know that you used to be a member so they probably figured you were just a boy crying wolf. If people ignore your requests message Chick, Keebler, Weeyoo, or myself via Xfire since you are in the RA xfire clan thingy and we'll kick/warn them via BF2CC

come on Dog you used to be a member you know we can not kick and ban without see the offense. Sky and MJ do not know you enough to go by what you say like I would....So that is what they are suppose to do. Nothing has changed, it is not allowed. And I did warn him when i saw it in chat, but I just happened to be looking in CC and see you say it, so it is not like anyone who knows you was there to take care of it for you. Thanks for the heads, sorry no one that knew you were there, thems are the breaks sometimes in a server.

Your right chick, its my fault I didn't install XFIRE yet on my new SSD drive ( I just did it). I've been having trouble getting devices to work with WIN7 64bit - so I have been switching in between XP and WIN 7 drives. Tonight I was using WIN7 and didn't have XFIRE loaded. (Still can't get my joystick to work) - no off color jokes now....

However, I think it is easy to see a commander arty'ing an uncap when most of the team is pinned down in the uncap dying under repeated arty... but then again maybe not. I am really surprised with all this chat about the R|A members didn't know who I was - really - does that matter? If a commander is stating that their uncap is being arty'd on repeatedly - shouldn't someone at least look into it?

I know if you don't see it, it didn't happen, but is that a license to have a blind eye as an admin when you're in game? If someone states a blantant rule infraction that actually lasts for several seconds (like artillery) - that is something that is pretty easy to see.

Turning a blind eye as admin to non R|A member players was not acceptable when I joined R|A last year, and it was a lot of "work" to log in as an R|A admin, and a privilege - that's one of the big reasons I quit the clan back then... all the drama at the time that was going on, and I could never actually play the game - I was always having to babysit when I logged in. I'm sure you remember all the drama in the clan at the time I joined - bad luck on my part to join at that time I guess. I've never stopped playing on the server... it is my favorite. I also donate whenever I can - it is worth the price of admission. A lot of great players and really good matches are played nightly.

Around that time i was flying MJ in the AH-1Z. "I" only saw Smitty artied the uncap "once" on that round(probably cause i was focusing on flying?).

Yes i remember u asked me to kick him, but as a admin, i only warn/kick ppl IF I saw it.


Forgive me if i didnt see the other time he artied the uncap. But i cant read every word from the screen in every seconds WHILE flying a chopper. I did warned him when i saw it(which was like a minute before u asked me to kick him)

Might I suggest that we warn people via text as well as thru !w.
That way people see texts and also we remind them to read the scroll.
I know that a lot of times you don't always read the scroll, so posting in the actual chat box helps a lot.
